I started playing tennis five years ago when my local tennis club offered free taster sessions. I wanted to improve my general fitness, and the thought of joining a gym didn't appeal to me, so I tried tennis and found I really enjoyed the competitive nature of the game. However, I experienced a few injuries when I started playing due to poor technique, so I decided to get serious about learning how to play the sport safely. I learned about the importance of your posture when serving, choosing the correct shoes for the court surface you're playing on and preventing wrist pain by altering your racket technique. I started this blog to share the tips I've learned over the years, and I hope you find it useful and interesting.
